7/7/2016 McCafe menu's new item! The green apple tea frappé!

These two drinks are available today in several McCafe today. Knowing the news, I instantly walk into one of the McCafe after lunch to try out the new drink. Well, first off I have to say sorry for forgetting to take a picture - the tea frappé looks just like the one on menu, only the top layer is thinner.

The top layer - green apple foam(I don't know how to describe that thing, the texture is interesting), tasted like fresh apple mixed with syrup. It was not very sweet, and you can still taste the flavor of apple in it. However the bottom layer, which is the ceylon tea, was a bit of disappointment. It was too sweet. Way too sweet. And it tasted like the tea you drink in some cha chaan teng (hong kong traditional cafe, or "Eastern and Western food restaurant", which the food is relatively low price), only sweeter. Good thing is, the ice dilute the sweetness of the tea.
